As long as the soil has adequate drainage they will thrive. The blooms are lovely and this Milkweed is often planted as an ornamental addition to a native landscape! Blooms are lavenderish whitish purple and very pretty. Like the showy Milkweed these plants are a host for the Monarch butterfly in their larval stage! Drought tolerant perennial. Hardiness zones 6-10.
