Hedge Rose

This is the species rose which has giant rose hips in the fall and is an excellent source of vitamin C. The large size of these hips makes for easy picking and the spring blooms are a sweet single flowered blossom, usually dark pink and occasionally white. Makes an excellent hedge plant. Prefers full sun. Perennial Hardy to zones 2-10.
