Greek Mountain Tea

A traditional tea consumed throughout Greece to treat the common cold. Sold in dried form in most Greek markets worldwide. Sideritis species have proven anti-inflammatory properties. Research into anti-arthritic and antimicrobial uses is ongoing. Greek Mountain Tea is a great addition to the rock garden or container planting .They have very attractive gray-woolly leaves which will cascade over the edge of a container and sweet light yellow blooms. In the wild, plants thrive on sunny, rocky, dry hillsides. Prefers full sun. Tender Perennial Hardy to zones 7-10.
