Description
All parts of this plant are potentially toxic. The dry leaf contains atropine and scopolamine, which are narcotic and antispasmodic. A preparation of the root has been used to reduce swelling of tumors. Used externally, it can help with inflammation. Use with caution. Likes partial shade, Hardy Perennial to Zones 7-10.
