Description
Western Coltsfoot Native to moist shady areas of western North America. The root and leaf are used for respiratory complaints such as bronchitis, asthma and general sinus trouble. Traditionally used as a remedy for whooping cough. Clinical studies have shown that it can reduce the risk of migraines. Prefers a wet and shaded location. The large green leaves have a tropical look to them. Hardy perennial to zones 4-9
