Description
Atractylodes macrocephala. The rhizome of this lovely plant is used in Chinese medicine as an aromatic tonic in treatment of chronic gastroeneritis, as a Qi tonic for the adrenals and helps resurrect flagging sexuality. Related to Bachelor Buttons, Pollinators of all kinds enjoy the Purpleish blooms and they are really cool flowers. Annual Hardy to zone 5.
