Traditional use: This is the most medicinally active variety of Yarrow. It’s been used traditionally as an antiseptic, an anti-inflammatory and as a diaphoretic to reduce fevers. The beautiful white flowers are a proven mosquito repellent and also attracts many beneficial insects to the garden. This herb is essential to the basic herbal medicine chest and an attractive white perennial in the landscape. Drought tolerant. Hardy to zones 3-9.
