Description
Native sagebrush from the interior west forms an aromatic low growing shrub up to 20 inches tall with striking silvery green foliage. The seeds were eaten by the Great Basin Indians and the Hopi used the leaves to flavor corn. Also used medicinally for skin ailments and wound healing. Drought tolerant and prefers full sun and well drained soil. Hardy perennial to zones 3-10.
